NAN OPTIPRO 2 SHOULD NOT be used if an infant has a diagnosed cow’s milk allergy.

Milk Solids, maltodextrin, vegetable oils, minerals (calcium citrate, potassium phosphate, magnesium chloride, sodium citrate, sodium chloride, potassium citrate, ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, copper sulphate, sodium selenate, potassium iodine), emulsifier (soy lecithin), Omega LCPUFAs (DHA from fish oil, AA), vitamins [sodium ascorbate (vit C), dl-Alpha-Tocopherol (vit E) , calcium panthenate (vit B5), niacinamide (niacin), thiamin mononitrate (vit B1), retinyl acetate (vit A), pyridoxine hydrochloride (vit B6), riboflavin (vit B2), cholecalciferol (vit D3), phylloquinone (vit K1), folic acid, biotin, cyanocobalamin (vit B12)], cultures (bifidus, streptococcus), antioxidants (ascobyl palmitate, mixed tocopherols concentrate).

Directions
Prepare each bottle individually.Formula left in the bottle after a feed must be discarded.Reminder: Always hold baby while feeding.Leaving baby unattended may cause choking.
1. Wash your hands before preparing baby’s formula.2. Wash bottle, teat and cap thoroughly until no milk remains.3. Boil for five minutes. Leave covered until use.4. Boil drinking water for five minutes; allow to cool.5. Consult feeding table, pour exact amount of lukewarm (40°C) into the bottle.6. Only use scoop from this container and level using inner rim.7. Consult feeding table, add exact number of level scoops for age of baby.8. After use, store the spoon on suspension inside the can as shown.9. Cap bottle and shake well until powder is fully dissolved. Feed immediately (It is safer to feed immediately after prepared).10. Close tin tightly after each use and store it in a cool and dry place. Must be used within 3 weeks after opening.

Using more or less powder than indicated will either lead to dehydration or deprive your baby of proper nutrition): 7, No. of feeds per day: Formula: 4-3, Others: 1-2 (At this age, the infant’s diet becomes more diversified (infant cereals, baby foods). Consult your healthcare professional before introducing any new food to baby’s diet. As your baby grows please consult your health care professional for guidance on teat size.
Transitioning advice: A baby may better adapt when changes in feeding are introduced gradually. Alternating between the old and new feeds may ease transition.
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
Wash your hands before preparing baby’s formula. Wash bottle, teat and cap thoroughly until no milk remains; boil for five minutes; leave covered until use. Boil drinking water for 5 minutes; allow to cool. Consult feeding table, pour exact amount of lukewarm water (40°C) into the bottle. Only use scoop from this can and level using inner rim of can. Consult feeding table, add exact number of level scoops for age of baby. After use, store the scoop on inner rim of can. Cap bottle and shake well until powder is fully dissolved. FEED IMMEDIATELY.
